
Last week I shared myGrandma’s recipe for homemade egg noodles, so now it’s time to share herChicken & Noodles! My grandma madethis dish frequently when we went to visit, so I always think of her when Imake chicken and noodles. I am so glad Ican share her recipe with my own family!
As a side, Chicken &Noodles may not be much to look at, but it is comforting in every way! Enjoy!
Recipe Notes:
Chicken and Noodles
1 batch homemade egg noodles
Heat the chicken stock to aboil. Add the noodles and simmer for 30minutes, stirring occasionally. Thepasta will absorb a lot of liquid, so add more hot chicken stock or hot water,if needed.
Once the noodles are fullycooked, stir in the cooked chicken and the water and flour mixture. Simmer for another 10 minutes or until thesauce has thickened. Add salt and pepperto taste and serve with a crusty roll.
