Broccoli is my 4 year old’sfavorite vegetable (shocking, isn’t it?)
Since I make broccoli sofrequently, I’m always looking for a ways to spice it up, but still keep it kidfriendly. In this recipe, the boringsteamed broccoli gets all dressed up with bacon and chives, but still has ahealthy dose of parmesan for the kids!
Broccoli with Bacon & Chives
1 medium crown of broccoli,cut in florets
Place 1-2 inches of water intoa medium sized pot of water & bring to a boil. Place the broccoli into the pot (in a steambasket, if you have one) and cover. Steam for 3-4 minutes; drain and place in a bowl.
Mix the bacon, chives andparmesan into the broccoli and serve.
Serves 2-3
