Online BlogCon 2012 and a Giveaway!

Hey y'all!  I'm an bouncing up and down right now to share this post with you today.  You may remember my 30 Before 30 list...well here's the first step to crossing off #24!  I'm going to my very first blog conference - from home.  I'll be checking out all the amazing speakers, networking and (hopefully) winning some awesome giveaway prizes in my pajamas with the boys cuddled up next to me.

How you ask?  Excellent question.  I give you Online BlogCon!!  You heard right.  Save the plan ticket, $100+ registration, and hotel room expenses.  Online BlogCon makes sure you sure don't miss any of sessions being shared by experienced bloggers by having the pros write up posts shared on Online BlogCon's attendee-only site and answer our questions there.  I hate feeling like I have to choose between two topics I'm dying to know more about. I trust my friends, but I'm a note taker...as in I write like EVERYTHING down.  I only trust myself in that capacity.


 
So what's really the deal with Online BlogCon?  Online BlogCon was put together by Ashton from Something Swanky and Dorothy from Crazy for Crust, and for a mere $15 you have access to the full Online BlogCon site. The website includes expert blogger topic posts, network opportunities - online and in person through local meet-ups, and a free entry into the GRAND PRIZE GIVEAWAY!  Online BlogCon runs from October 22 - 24; attendees will have access at any time and after the event offically "closes" to all the info shared.

Networking is kind of huge in the blogging world, and let me tell you - it's already begun for me.  Dorothy was kind enough to hook me up with a couple bloggers in AZ who are putting together a blogger dinner.  I've been wanting to meet some local girls for a while now.  I know of about 6 of them, but between babysitting needs and nerves, I haven't reached out yet.  Especially considering of the Online BlogCon speakers is a local blogger - like probably a half hour from me at most.  Ah!
