Thing 1 & Thing 2 Cupcakes

When my friend’s daughterrecently celebrated her 3^rd birthday, she had a Dr. Seuss themedparty.  Specifically, she requested Thing1 & Thing 2 Cupcakes with swirls!

Here’s what you’ll need tomake these cupcakes:

1 recipe Sour Cream Chocolate cupcakes1 recipe Vanilla ButtercreamBlue sugar sprinklesRed Cupcake Liners (found atMichael’s)1 batch of Royal Icing, tintedblue
Bake and frost thecupcakes.  To make the swirls, cut waxedpaper into small squares.  Use thin royalicing to make a swirl shape on each piece of waxed paper.  Dry flat for at least 24 hours.  Just before serving, peel the swirls off thewaxed paper and push gently into the cupcakes.
